My condolences to Sheffies family. She and my mother, Emma Stringer, were best friends since their time at Narrows High School. I loved Sheffies warmth and big hugs and will remember her always. Plus, now I know where my middle name Rae came from!

Judy and I join with you and share your loss. You and the family have loved and been loved by your mother. What a treasure! May you experience the presence of God and His comfort now and in the days ahead. We love you.

I had the pleasure to have known her many years at Cornerstone PH Church. I have fond memories as a teenager...she was my " Big Sister" in the Women Auxiliary. She will be missed but never forgotten.

Rose Marie:
Where do I begin to talk about the wonderful memories I have of all the women who shaped my life in that little small church on College St.? I am forever blessed and changed not only by the pastors who shared the gospel but by the women who loved me and shared the love of Jesus with me. Sheffie was one of those women and I know that Heaven has gained a saint.

I love you Rose Marie Dunford and my thoughts and prayers are with you and the rest of the family at this time.

I have fond memories of attending the Narrows Pentecostal Church when I was younger and Sheffie was a huge part of those memories. I remember her at vacation bible school. Heaven has gained another sweet angel. May God give your family peace now and in the days to come.

God placed a truly great lady in our lives when He gave us Sheffie Godfrey. Her talents were remarkable and she was a jewel to all who knew her. I can imagine her rejoicing in the presence of God, completely healed, happy and healthy. So, as I feel sorrow for all who loved her and will miss her, I feel great joy for Sheffie because she has made it home. A place she has looked forward to for many, many

Jim, I am so sorry about your Mom, she had such a sweet way about her. I loved to talk to her when I would come in to stay at Kay's. And I have a really good picture of her on my phone that I took when I was up there one time. Kay and I are going to get prints made. Just remember her strong faith in the Lord and it will get you thru this. Prayers for your whole family.
