Jerry Lee Fleeman, 63, formerly of Narrows, went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, April 23rd, 2017 from his home in Randleman, North Carolina.

He was born in Giles County on November 26th, 1953, and was the son of Lula Blankenship Fleeman and the late Milton Buford Fleeman. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by a son, Jerry Milton Fleeman; and two brothers, David Fleeman and Donald Fleeman.

Jerry was a longtime employee of Celanese Acetate in Narrows with over 35 years of service, where he was well respected by his co-workers. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, riding his 4-wheeler and tractors, farming, garden work, and especially his goats. Jerry also enjoyed his canine companion, Lady.

In addition to his mother, he is survived by his wife of 46 years, Sandra Sue Thorne Fleeman; three children, Amy Booth and husband Anthony of Lindside, West Virginia, Jeffrey Caudill Fleeman of Narrows, Jennifer Williams and husband Brandon of Christiansburg; nine grandchildren, Tyler Jackson, Matthew Jackson, Emily Booth, Chase Fleeman, Gage Fleeman, Dawson Fleeman, Alex Perkins, Ian Perkins, and Braelynn Williams; two great-grandchildren, Melody Jackson and Aiyana Cole; a sister, Lena Kast and husband Charles of Narrows; several nieces, nephews, cousins, and many special friends.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, April 27th, 2017 at 2 PM in the Chapel of Riffe's Funeral Service in Narrows with Pastor Bill Brown officiating. Burial will follow in Angels Rest Cemetery near Narrows. The family will receive friends at Riffe's Funeral Chapel Thursday from 12 noon until just prior to the service.
